Dr. Pamela Posein    Chiropractor

Dr. Pamela Posein (pronounced 'Pozine') completed (with Distinction) a Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports Studies degree at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, in 1998. Her area of specialization was Active Living, Health and Wellbeing.

Following this, she completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario, in 2002.

Dr. Posein was an elite athlete. She is a former Canadian Champion in the sport of Modern Pentathlon and represented Canada at the World Championships in this sport for many years. Modern Pentathlon is a sport that combines the disciplines of distance running, swimming, pistol shooting, fencing and equestrian show jumping. Dr. Posein is a C.I.A.U. National Medallist in the sport of Track and Field for middle distance running of 600 metres. She was named Pandas Team Captain and winner of the Lee Vanderstam Trophy for Female Athlete of the Year in Track and Field at the University of Alberta.

At the same time, she retained her "A" level in the sport of Women's Epee Fencing. She competed in this separate sport Internationally.

As well, she was a National Gold Medallist in Pistol Shooting at the Canada Games. Today, Dr. Posein very much stays active by running, swimming and riding her Thoroughbred horse, Gaucho. Therefore, she especially loves the mild, beautiful outdoors of Campbell River. Separately, Dr. Posein loves to participate in the Campbell River Singers Choir, as a soprano singer.

Dr. Posein enjoys working with and helping people from all walks-of-life. She has a passion to stay up to date with continuing education in order to offer an evidence-informed, patient-centered approach to care. Dr. Posein blends hands on treatment with cold laser and active exercise prescription to help her patients. Hers is a holistic approach that not only looks at specific conditions but addresses the lifestyle of each unique individual.
